Today is Remembrance Sunday in the UK, when we gather around the local war memorial to remember those who gave their lives. Lest we forget.
It seems a good day to remember the work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Most British soldiers who died in conflicts across the world are usually buried near where they fell. This means there are hundreds of cemeteries, beautifully maintained for us to visit and remember those who died far from their families and friends.
On my trips to the Balkans and elsewhere, I always try to visit the CWWC sites. Here are a few.

Lest we forget.
